We've taken the Friday Family Movies on the Lawn from the summer, moved them indoors, added desserts, and hopefully created an atmosphere to foster discussion about the movie.
You could liken it to the old church film nights — with a twist.
Why??

We would like to help viewers look at movies as shapers and reflectors of culture, philosophy, politics, theology, etc. and to discern how movies influence us and those around us.

On the second Saturday of each month, movies will be shown in the auditorium on our new theater-size screen (20'x10') with digital 5.1 surround sound. After the movie, desserts will be served and conversation areas will be available to dialogue about what you just saw.

Our target audience will vary depending on what movie is being shown. We will include the movie rating in announcements to allow parents to decide what is appropriate for their kids. We hope to provide activities and child care for your younger ones.

Please come and bring your family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors.
If you would like more information or would like to be involved, please contact Dennis Wagner, Bob & Debbie Krumland or Geoff & Rita Summers at dvd@fbccs.org.
