Is it time that I turn and headed home? God is looking for you –wanting to receive and rejoice. Will you trust him?
Do I “welcome people” and yet not really want to “eat” with them…? (See Luke 15:2) What would cause you to change? Ask him to give you His priorities. He will.
Do I get excited about the things God gets excited about? Do I want to go to the parties he throws? Ask him to invite you to the next one-and then just wait with expectation!
Am I outside sulking while God is rejoicing over someone turning to him? Have I seen my relationship as something I must earn? Turn and go in and join the party – he is waiting to receive you with celebration!
