“The remarkable thing about fearing God is that when you fear God, you fear nothing else, whereas if you do not fear God you fear everything else.”
Oswald Sanders “There are snowstorms. There are hailstorms. There are rainstorms. And there are doubtstorms. Every so often, a doubstorm rolls into my life... bringing gale force winds of fear.”

The Perfect Storm (vv. 22-26)
The Perfect Result (vv. 27-33)
For Personal and Small Group Reflection
Is Jesus “truly the Son of God” in your life and belief system? Have you placed your faith in Jesus who “saves” us, not only in the storms of life, but, more importantly, from our sins?
What qualities about Peter would you like to emulate? In your opinion, What are his strengths and weaknesses in this particular story? What about the other disciples?
How do you handle the “storms” of life emotionally and spiritually? Would you like to handle them better? What can you do to strengthen your relationship with Jesus Christ?
What “ghosts” do you live with?
When was the last time you spent time “up on a mountainside” with the Father?
Are you “worshiping” Jesus in the storm or are you waiting for the storm to end?
