The Feasts of Israel were designed by God to make His people stop and remember who they were and what He had done for them.
Praise the LORD, all you servants of the LORD who minister by night in the house of the LORD. Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and praise the LORD. May the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth, bless you from Zion.” - Psalm 134
“Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful...” - Hebrews 12:28
“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.” - Colossians 3:15
3 Fall Celebrations:
1st day—Trumpets
10th day—Atonement
15th-21st—Tabernacles (ingathering)
Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD; O Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy. If you, O LORD, kept a record of sins, O Lord, who could stand? But with you there is forgiveness; therefore you are feared.” - Psalm 130
Life Responses:
How has God worked in your life this year?
Has this been a tough year for you? If so, how has God comforted you in the midst of it? And if it’s been a year of abundance, is there anyone you can share with?
Can you relate to the psalmist who wrote Psalm 130? Do you know for sure that you have received Jesus’ offer of forgiveness?
