Despair—Hopeless, gut-wrenching despair. Have you ever experienced it? Many of us have and would, no doubt, pay almost any price to avoid ever facing it again.

This morning, we meet a father who faces one of life’s greatest and most feared tragedies. The pain he lives in is beyond calculation. Panic invades his soul. Despair has brought him to his knees. Fear is moving him 25 miles down a road...to beg for help.
