The leper who approached Jesus was a constant physical reminder to everyone of how God views mankind spiritually: they were "dead in their sins". Sin has terrible consequences. It cuts us off from the presence of God who is life Himself. It also eats away at our souls and spirits, leaving us with a sense of uncleanness and unwholesomeness.

1. Turn to Jesus in your Uncleanness - Luke 5:12-13

The Leper: Lord if you are willing, you can make me clean!

Jesus: I am willing. Be Clean!

2. Thank the Lord for your Cleansing - Luke 5:14-16 The Leper: He told everyone about his cleansing

Have you ever hungered for wholeness, for physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual wholeness? Our wonderful Lord is always willing to bring spiritual wholeness in the form of salvation to all who place their faith in him as their Lord and Savior. He is also willing to hear our request when we come to him in faith and ask him to cleanse us physically, emotionally and intellectually.
