Through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all have sinned (Romans 5:12). Sin is the result of mankind's rebellion against God and His revealed Law. Sin is lawlessness, and the consequences of sin is physical, emotional and spiritual death. Death is the absence of life as God intended life to be lived.

Who is really able to deal with the issues of sin, guilt and shame? Are we the solution which can rid ourselves of our personal guilt and shame and its crippling effects in our lives and those around us? Or is there someone else we can call out to in this world or the world beyond the curtains of eternity? Only Jesus - the loving Son of God.

Who is able to forgive sin? Only Jesus, the Son of God, is able forgive the sins that keep as physically, emotionally and spiritually crippled. Then only He is able to give us the courage to take up our pallet and walk, setting us free from all guilt and shame, and filling our hearts with praise to God for our new life in Him.
