Many in our modern community have confusing ideas about the person called Jesus - a man who lived on this earth in the early first century. Some among us think that he was a good teacher, while others believe he was a moral measure for our contemporary society. There are those who would say that he is the human man and Christ is the divine ideal. Most teachers within the world religions call him one of the great masters, while many even within Christianity would say that he is the Son of God, but not God the Son or God Himself.

Ron Ritchie and Kevin McKee take us into the Upper Room in Jerusalem. It was in that room that Jesus and his disciples would meet around the Passover Meal for the final time before his death on a Roman cross for the sins of fallen humanity. And it was during that final meal that Jesus revealed to those men his true identity. They discovered that he was and remains the loving servant of God, the Son of Man, the Way, the Truth, and the Life, the Son of God, the Prince of Peace, and the True Vine (John 13-15). At the same time Jesus told His disciples that after his death and resurrection from the grave he would be revealed as the world's only living God and savior (Luke 24:1-35). Jesus also promised his current and future disciples that he would send them the person of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit would empower them to take the Good News to their hurting communities.
